22 institutions from 18 European countries participate as contractors in the project. Many other institutions participate as subcontractors with minor tasks.
Participation in the project is, however, NOT limited to contractors and subcontractors. The majority of project actions (courses, workshops, summer schools, special sessions at conferences etc.) are open to every interested person.
